João Léste is an autonomous researcher and an administrative employee at the Central Coordination for Continuous Education – PUC-Rio, as well as a member of the InTouchLab. His research is situated in the intersection between design in partnership, interaction, tabletop games and diversity, with special focus on participative approaches tied to underrepresented and marginalised demographics. Currently, his research focuses on ways to design games that are compatible with the characteristics and needs of People with Disabilities, and in which ways those games can contribute to their insertion in educational contexts and in the job market.
